A special awareness program organized by the Kuruwita Multipurpose Co- operative Society Ltd was successfully held. A large number of members of the area participated in this program and gained valuable knowledge about current trends, development measures and the future plans of the society.
Sabaragamuwa Provincial Cooperative Society Performance Competition This was organized with the aim of raising the performance level of cooperative societies in the Sabaragamuwa Province. The third place at the provincial level was won by Kuruwita Various Services Cooperative Society.

The first employee day meeting held after the election of the new board of directors 2026.01.14 All the board of directors officers, all the corporate executive officers and all the cooperative employees participated in this. Here, the organizational changes to be made institutionally, employee issues and decisions to be taken for the organizational welfare were discussed.
From January 1, 2026, the 5 pre-schools operating through the cooperative will provide free pre-school education and pre-school uniforms.
