The Society is currently the sales agency of the Cooperative Insurance Company and is implementing the consumer insurance system in collaboration with Softlogic Insurance Company.

In the year 2024, the amount of cooperative insurance deposits is Rs. 0.8 million and the profit is Rs. 0.3 million. Until October 2025, the amount is Rs. 0.5 million and the profit is Rs. 0.1 million.

The target amount for the year 2026 is Rs. 1 million and the profit is planned to be Rs. 0.08 million. At present, only motor insurance is being implemented and it is expected to add general insurance and life insurance in the year 2026.

The consumer insurance system is being fully implemented to increase the sales of consumer goods of the Society and as a welfare service to the members. Currently, more than 300 people have joined this insurance system.

The association expects to enroll 10,000 members in this insurance system by 2026. It aims to provide welfare services to a large number of people and increase consumer product sales to Rs. 250 million.

Connecting all points of sale to the system will allow for the systematic handling of consumer insurance activities.

To achieve these goals, the insurance sector will be structured under a strong management.
